Football is such a game that can turn one player from zero to the hero or vice versa. The same thing happened with Alberto Aquilani, the former Italian skipper. The central midfielder was playing for the English Premier League giant Liverpool where he signed for 17.1 million Euros and the then coach of Liverpool Rafa Benitez took him from AS Roma of Italy. He was given the place of Xavi Alanso who went to Real Madrid that summer. But a goal changed his career and the fans erased his name completely from their memory.

Alberto Aquilani was not fully fit for the initial days in Liverpool and was suffering from an injury. He was a regular player in the first XI and helped his team to secure a place in the semi-finals of the Europa League. The opponent was Atletico Madrid where Diago Forlan, the Uruguay maestro was playing during that season. Liverpool was playing very well as Alberto Aquilani and Yossi Benayoun scored for them. They managed to have an aggregate lead on Atletico Madrid as Liverpool had to face a one-goal defeat in their away match.

Goal Italia reports that the Citizens have made a new offer for the Juventus defender following previous proposals earlier in the season. Man City boss Pep Guardiola is a big fan of the Italian international and he has identified him as an option ahead of next season.
The Madrid based club have been sweating on the fitness of the attacker ahead of their match with Liverpool.
Elsewhere, the club have also been disappointing with their displays in other competitions and most recently, they required a penalty shoot-out to beat Rochdale in the League Cup while managing only a goalless draw against AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League. Speaking in a press conference, Solskjaer stressed that the game has evolved from the 90s and United are currently in a rebuilding phase.
In a report covered by Sky Sports News, a leaked staff email has been presented where Woodward has promised more signings, he wrote: “Despite the inflated nature of the transfer market and constant speculation and stories, which can be misleading, the recruitment team – in conjunction with the manager [Ole Gunnar Solskjaer] – are working calmly behind the scenes to bring in other exciting players that fit their long-term vision for the club.”
Speaking in a press conference, Emery said that the team must not ponder over previous results and the focus should lie on getting the much-needed win against the Foxes on the road, he said: “The first idea for us is to recover our confidence. Each minute, hour, day and week we are working and training for a big performance to take the three points. We lost the last two matches but our focus has to be on the present, next Sunday.
After the victory, there is confirmed that Boca Juniors had a private team talk in order to ensure that the team performed at the best. It appears that this team talk had a major influence in ensuring that the club was able to feel good on the pitch. It was a complicated game against the Colombian team and Boca Juniors had to get three points in this match after the goalless draw with Jorge Wilstermann in the previous Copa Libertadores match. The next game for Boca Juniors in the South American Champions League will be against Atletico Paranaense. Prior to the game, they have two matches against Estudiantes De Río Cuarto and Banfield.
