Derby County defender Curtis Davies said that his team is prepared to fight to win games and that they do not matter if they win ugly. He said that they have been used to playing attractive football under their new manager Frank Lampard but there are times that they need to win ugly.

Curtis Davies said that the team has struggled against physical sides this season and that it was important that they improve in this aspect when facing Birmingham. He said that not all games will be easy and that you need to be prepared to roll up your sleeves and win some matches ugly.
