Human Error can Cost Arsenal their English Premier League Title

LIVERPOOL KEEN ON WIN AGAINST BOURNEMOUTH

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and his players are keen to get their latest Premier League campaign going ahead of the visit of newly promoted team Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

It’s a surprise that title challengers Liverpool are yet to win a game after the end of the third week as far as the latest Premier League campaign is concerned. The Mersey side giants have a record of two draws and one draw from their three league outings this season. Liverpool started the new season with the surprising 2-2 draw at the home of newly promoted team Fulham. The hosts led twice before Liverpool bounced back to take a point from the game. The Reds were heavy favourites to take three points from the game, but they were unable to achieve partly due to the influence of Serbian striker AleksandarMitrovic. Ex-Newcastle United star Mitrovic scored twice for Fulham, while Mohamed Salah and new signing Darwin Nunez scored the goals for Liverpool. KLOPP DELIGHTED WITH PLAYERS’ RETURN

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was delighted with the return of some of his players during the FC Porto game in the Champions League on Wednesday. In his post-match presser, Klopp expressed his delight that he was able to give minutes to players such as Andy Robertson and James Milner who were returning from respective injuries. The Liverpool boss was also delighted that he was able to rest some key players.

Jurgen Klopp was able to rest key first team players like Virgil Van Dijk, Fabinho and Trent Alexander Arnold for the FC Porto game which ended in a 2-0 win for his team courtesy the goals from Mohamed Salah and Thiago Alcantara. Ex-Bayern Munich and Barcelona man Thiago was able to notch his first goal for the Reds during the Porto game having joined them in a £20m deal last summer. Liverpool signed Thiago from German champions Bayern Munich at the start of last season as he was reluctant to sign a new deal with one year left on the existing one.

MIDTJYLLAND VS LIVERPOOL: PREDICTED LIVERPOOL STARTING XI

 

As a manager, knowing that you have qualified for the next round of the Champions League round of 16 already with a game to spare is usually blissful. You then have the freedom to give minutes to your fringe players and either get reminded of how good they are, or why you should sell them.
